WHAT YOU WILL DO 13;
:Manage and troubleshoot communication systems.
:Maintain on call schedules for services and communication tools.
:Answer the phone and directs incoming calls. Place outgoing calls.
:Document communication in EPIC.
:Transcribe written orders.
:Maintain/order office supplies.
:Assist in maintenance of unit statistics and in bed assignment process.
:Answer call lights. 13;
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED 13;
:Identify personal learning needs. Seek opportunity for continued learning.
:Assume responsibility for information knowledge.
:Assist in orientation of new staff members.
:Utilize time productively.
:Demonstrate flexibility in staffing and adaptability to changes in patient care practice.
:Exercise safe judgement in decision making.
:Demonstrate tact and understanding when dealing with others. Respond in a positive manner to constructive criticism.
:Ability walk and stand continuously for eighty percent (80) of work time and frequently up to fifty percent (50) of work time life and push up to 100 pounds while positioning patients and equipment. Constant visual and fine motor demands.
:Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature. Transport patients via cart and wheelchair, ambulate patients, cleaning, stocking and lifting supplies.
:Completion of State approved Nurse Aide Program
:CNA licensure in the state of Indiana is required
:CPR required 13;
