Position: Jr. Recruiter
Location: Hammond, IN 46320
Status: Full-Time

Code Red Safety is looking for a Jr. Recruiter at our Corporate Office located in Hammond, IN. Due to our rapid growth, Code Red is seeking a Jr. Recruiter to join our HR team. This individual will be responsible for the full recruiting life cycle for our rapidly growing company.

Essential/Primary Job Functions:
Recruitment of potential employees via recruiting website, college campuses, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sources.
Manage candidates through entire recruiting life cycle
Receive and review applications and resumes.
Screen, interview and recommends prospective employees for employment and present qualified and screened candidates to the hiring managers with summary of qualifications.
Determine optimum recruitment method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool
Coordinate onsite and phone interviews between candidates and recruiters or hiring managers.
May periodically work with search firms or other placement agencies.
Social Media recruiting communication (LinkedIn, Facebook, Webpage)
Branding and building relationships with current and future new hires.
Places advertisements, attends job fairs, interviews candidates, and performs other related duties.
Maintain Applicant Tracking database (CATS).
Upload resumes, bulk and individual, into our ATS from a variety of sources.
Verify and correct candidate and client/prospect data in ATS. Compare existing data and correct as needed: names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses in ATS.
Run queries and reports for Management team.
Coordinate on-boarding process along with New Hire Paperwork.
Additional HR & Admin Duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:
Six months + of entering and maintaining data in contact databases, spreadsheets or ATS (applicant tracking systems).
Experience in a high-volume Recruiting or Recruiting Assistant role is a plus

Excellent skills in alternate sourcing techniques besides job boards, ad response, Internet search engines, networking, referrals, headhunting and cold calling.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Working environment consists of an office work space which is conditioned but may encounter various degrees of heat, light and dust.
Must be able to sit and work within office environment for majority of the work day. May infrequently lift, up to, 10 pounds. Will need to reach and bend to access files with reasonable accommodation.
Must have the manual dexterity to use a computer keyboard and phone.
