ARYZTA Americas operates one of the largest specialty bakery businesses servicing all major customers in the retail, foodservice, QSR and convenience store channels.
The Americas Structure includes four operating Business Units: Brazil, Canada, ARYZTA US Baking Solutions and ARYZTA US Consumer Foods, which are serviced by the Americas Central Support Functions covering areas such as Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, HR, Legal, IT, Finance Shared Services, Procurement, Category Management, and Commercialization.

Quality Assurance Tech I
To assure compliance with USDA regulations and company procedures and to ensure quality of food meets company standard and supplier requirement.
:Completes Weight control chart, lot tracking sheets and all the required quality paper work.
:Responsible for upholding, following and maintaining the SQF 2000 code requirements.
:Monitors HACCP.
:Communicates with QA Director/ Manager/ Supervisor immediately if there is any deviation.
:Works with porters during shift to make sure all lines are clean.
:Communicates with Production Manager and QC supervisor if there is ingredient change.
:Make sure correct ingredients are being used on all products.
:Verifies labels on the inner box and master case throughout the shift.
:Ensures that all products in the cooler and freezer are labeled and covered correctly.
:Ensures that line workers are following GMP.
:Monitors production line from food safety perspective.
:Performs CCP checks.
:Collects samples to be sent to the lab for micro testing.
:Records lot traceability information.
:Performs product quality inspections(CQP checks)
:Places non:conforming product / equipment on Hold.
:Oversee fulfilling of corrective actions.

Food Safety / Quality:
:Adhere to all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), such as good hand washing practices and adhering to the employee hygiene plan.
:Follow all USDA guidelines
:Report any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assurance
:Comply with customer requirements when applicable
Required Skills:
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
:Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
:Some computer skills and capability.
:Experience working with USDA facility.
:Personable and able to mix well with employees.
:Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP and GMP.
:High school Diploma
:Able to work first or second shift.
:Communicate effectively during shift change.
:Able to work in a refrigerated environment at length.
:Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
:Ability to walk and stand for a long period of time.
:Frozen, refrigerated and non:refrigerated environments.
